RICHIE HOLLIDAY
Funny man Richie Holliday didn’t grow up wanting to be a comedian. He wanted to be an architect, but quickly discovered he was terrible at math. So he took the advice of his college philosophy professor “Find something you like to do. Then do it so well someone will pay you to do it.” In early 2001, Richie tried his hand at stand-up comedy. After just two weeks of open mic he was offered a job as the house MC and decided he enjoyed getting paid to show the world he’s not quite the genius he parents hoped he would be. Described by Weird Al Yankovich as “Brilliantly Silly,” Richie Holliday’s charismatic and laid back persona has anchored his absurd and whimsical comedy. It’s a balance of the quirky and the common that made Holliday a favorite on Carnival Cruise Lines, over 150 colleges throughout America and has lead to appearances on HBO & ABC.
